Thomas C. DeStefano Sr.

Tom has been in the title industry since 1987, working alongside some of the top minds in the business. Specializing in the commercial facet of real estate, he has collaborated with commercial realtors, developers, attorneys, and lenders throughout his career. In June 1999, Tom and his mother Jeanne opened Sterling Title Agency. Since then, he has been instrumental in the growth of the company, adapting to the ever-changing real estate industry while continuing to develop and nurture relationships within the industry.

Cindy Clough

Cindy has been with Sterling Title for 24 years.  Cindy spent many years in the commercial real estate industry as paralegal for attorneys and developers.  She is organized, proactive, and diligent when preparing settlement statements and working with lenders. 

Barbara DeStefano

Barb has been with Sterling for many years.  As a closer, Barb works closely with attorneys, realtors and lenders to make sure that your transaction goes smoothly!  Barb has 40 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been a paralegal several of the areas top law firms.

Lyndsay DeStefano

As the newcomer on the block, Lyndsay has carried the torch of Cindy and Barb and is doing a fantastic job acquiring the knowledge and putting into practice what she has learned.

Michele Weiss

Post-closing department 

Michele is another veteran of the legal industry.  She has worked as a real estate paralegal for many years prior to joining Sterling Title four years ago.  Michele handles post closing making certain all documents are recorded.

Jennifer Holden

PARALEGAL

Jennifer plays a vital role in the business handling all of the new transactions and clientele. She is a certified paralegal bringing several years of real estate experience to the table. She communicates with realtors, attorneys, loan officers, lenders, investors, and buyers to begin the title process and answer any questions to help make the process easy. She works directly with the County searchers and other vendors to obtain all the necessary information for us to examine and produce the title commitment. Her organization keeps the workflow running smoothly on a daily basis to deliver great service to our clients.  She is also a New Jersey License Title Insurance Producer and Notary.

Kimberly Miller

bookkeeper | Policy Deparment

Kim has been with Sterling Title for 6 years.  She is our bookkeeper, responsible for recording daily financial transactions, making sure all our bills are paid every month, transactions are recorded correctly, and payroll runs on time.  She also monitors cash flow and provides financial reports to assist managers in making strategic decisions. 

She is also in charge of our Policy department.  She ensures all policies are written and sent out in a timely manner. If you are looking for a policy she’s your girl.

Kim also has her New Jersey Title License and is a Notary Public for the state of New Jersey.

April Olex

April joined Sterling Title in 2001 and quickly grew in the company. She obtained her New Jersey Title Insurance Producer License in 2003 while learning the business at the hands of Tom Ryan, a trusted and giant name in the title industry. April is well experienced with residential, commercial and leasehold properties. She has been the brains on major commercial transactions throughout New Jersey. She is acquainted in all aspects of title insurance and loves a title challenge to examine. She is a wealth of knowledge and the person for all your title and underwriting related needs. April has a great relationship with our Underwriter’s to help get those challenging matters to the table.

Tom’s background in the financial industry has provided him with valuable insights and expertise that have contributed to the strategic development of Sterling Title.
